First Reissue of Rare Titles by Tsutomu Yamashita & Horizon! WEWANTSOUNDS, a French label that has reissued many high-quality Japanese albums, is now reissuing a rare title by Tsutomu Yamashita & Horizon, featuring Masahiko Sato, Takehisa Kosugi, and Hideaki Sakurai, on remastered vinyl! Percussionist Tutomu Yamashita studied at Juilliard School and Berklee College of Music in the 1960s. Pianist Masahiko Sato, known for his collaboration with the New Herd Orchestra with whom he had a close relationship, and Takehisa Kosugi of the Taj Mahal Traveling Party played electric violin, and Hideaki Sakurai played electric shamisen. Both sides of the album record a serene yet frenetic performance influenced by contemporary music and improvised jazz. This is the first reissue in two formats, vinyl and CD, using material remastered from the original tapes by WEWANTSOUNDS. The vinyl is a collector's delight, with a gatefold obi jacket that reproduces the original jacket, and a new introduction by journalist Paul Bowler is also a must-see!
