Description: 

A very clean condition 2002 Fender '72 reissue Stratocaster crafted in Japan for their domestic market. These featured USA made Fender Vintage reissue single coils with black bobbins, staggered alnico magnets, and cloth-covered leads. The tremolo features proper '70s styled block saddles, large '72 era headstock with Gotoh tuners, vintage-spec 7 1/4" fretboard radius. Neck finish is near mint with only light marks, frets and fretboard are near mint. Body is a beautiful dark candy apple red in very good condition save for a small finish chip on the rear of the lower horn and some edge wear (please see photos). Pickguard had been replaced with an aftermarket pearl so we changed it back to the correct 3 ply white - genuine Fender parts used. Has been fully inspected and setup here by our team at Coast Sonic and is ready for a new home. Includes padded gig bag.
