Cornus alba Baton Rouge ='Minibat' (Dogwood)A reliable deciduous shrub well suited to UK gardens, prized for its autumn colour. Growing to around 2m tall by 1m wide at 10 years. Happy in full sun, though it tolerates some shade on most soils, and grows well in reasonably drained soil. It produces white flowers in summer, with ornamental red stems. Fully hardy throughout the UK and valuable for wildlife, attracting bees and butterflies.
