  • In 1963, the Canadian Football League contracted to have plastic player coins inserted in brand name potato chip bags including those put out by Nalley's, Hunter's, Krun-Chee, and Humpty Dumpty (printed in French and English). Other variations include (No Company name) Anonymous Back (English Only) and Anonymous Back (Bilingual). In total, there were eight teams represented with 20 coins per team.
  • The complete 160 coin set was only available in Humpty Dumpty chip bags. The other three chip companies only distributed their chips regionally and did not make the high numbered coins of the teams outside their distribution areas available in their chip bags. For example, Krun-Chee didn't make the high numbers of the Alouettes, Blue Bombers, Stampeders, Eskimos and Lions available in its chip bags while Nalley's didn't make high-numbered coins of the Rough Riders, Tiger-Cats, Argonauts or Alouettes available in its chip bags.
  • The toughest coin to find is the Ed Learn from the 1963 Humpty Dumpty CFL set. It's one of the high numbers which were apparently only distributed regionally, in Learn's case only Quebec and the Maritimes.
  • Glory Days has recently acquired a full 1963 Nalley’s CFL coin set. If you’re searching for a coin that is not yet listed, please feel free to reach out to us as we likely have it!
