Grotta Sonora's  large gong mallet is expertly calibrated to strike the center, heart of the gong, bringing out its deepest, warmest bass tones and pure fundamental note.

Designed with ideal weight distribution and padding, this mallet minimizes strike noise, allowing only pure, resonant sound and vibration to emerge.

Highly padded for optimal performance on single strikes, it is not indicated to be used in pair as “rollers” with gongs under 47”/120 cm diameter, while it can be used in pair on the bigger gong sizes.
