This first-harvest (Ichibancha) blend is the most indulgent in our collection, designed to provide a "velvet-jacket" mouthfeel. By blending the robust Yutakamidori with traditional favourites, we’ve created a profile that is naturally creamy and deeply comforting—making it the ultimate choice for a luxurious daily latte.

The Ritual

MINAMI is engineered to hold its own against the richness of milk, whether dairy or plant-based (we highly recommend oat milk to complement the hazelnut notes).

1. Sift 3g (approx. 3 bamboo scoops) of MINAMI into your bowl.
2. Add 30ml of water at 65-75°C (145-167°F).
3. Whisk into a thick, vibrant green concentrate.
4. For a Hot Latte: Pour into 100ml of steamed milk.
5. For an Iced Latte: Pour over a glass filled with ice and 100ml cold milk.
6. Add 6g of syrup of choice if you need a little lift and balance

Pro Tip: Because MINAMI is "toasty" rather than "grassy," it pairs incredibly well with a dash of brown sugar syrup. The sugar balances the matcha well, creating a drink that feels more like a dessert than a tea.
