Can be used as a replacement set of pre-filters for domestic reverse osmosis filter systems

Stage 1: Sediment filter (5 Micron), removes mud, rust, dirt, floating particulates or any other large particles

Stage 2: Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) remove ozone, pesticides, lime & chlorine as well as improving the taste and smell of your water

Stage 3: Carbon block filter reduces fine sediment, chlorine taste and the concentration of heavy metals such as lead and copper

Filter lifespan is determined by the quality of the source water that runs through them.  So if your source water is of a very bad quality, your filters will be doing more “work” to clean the water that is flowing through them. Thus depleting sooner than filters running under good water conditions. So, in short, each end-users filter requirements will be different as their source waters are different. We advise you check your filters on a monthly basis after initial install to get a feel for the quality of the water in your area.
