Border — None by Design

There is no border. That intentional simplicity keeps the look modern and muscular, letting the chunky letters and carbon fibre texture take centre stage. Without a frame the plate photographs cleanly and reads as a bold object rather than a boxed label.

Legal Status — Show Plate Only

Code 74 is not road legal. It was created as a show and photographic piece, so it does not carry printed BSAU or maker marks. Use it for photoshoots, events, showroom displays or as a bespoke gift. Because it is a non-compliant finish it should not be used as a working registration plate on public roads.

Practicality & Care

Despite the dramatic look the materials are robust. The thick acrylic letters resist warping and the engraved surface hides light scuffs from handling. Wipe gently with a soft cloth after use and store flat to retain crisp edges and finish. The lack of fine seams in the design makes cleaning quick and simple.
