We've finally reached this point in drifting! A fully ready to go tube rear end with a removable inner structure, easily replaceable bash bars, a jack point, a fuel cell mounting tab included, and optional tail light mounts. This kit was CAD designed from OEM Ford Models, no scans here!

This tube rear end is designed to be used on fully dedicated drift cars. The use of a fuel cell is not mandatory since S197's had saddle tanks from the factory, but this tube rear has provisions for a fuel cell.

If you're wondering how the heck you even do this, go look under your S197 and look at the rear sway bar tab on the chassis. This tab is kept intact and is what we use to set the plate distance, making it super easy to mark and cut the stock rails off!

• Double 1.66" OD, .120" wall tube as the main structure with stitch welding between the tubes. Strong stuff!
• Chassis mount plate holes are outside of the frame rails, so you can use the nuts/bolts as sent or weld nuts on to the back side of the plates.
• Bash bars are the same left and right, meaning less spares to carry!
• Jack point integrated into the tube rear structure, including a plate that fits perfectly into 2.5 ton jacks so your car won't slip off!
• Fuel cell frame not included, but the tab to mount it to the tube structure is. This way you don't have to disconnect the fuel cell from the car if you ever remove the inner crash structure from the car. There are too many different size and shape cells for us to offer a specific fuel cell frame.
• Optional tail light mounts are designed from OEM cad, meaning they land perfectly where the tail lights are from the factory. (TAIL LIGHT MOUNTS ONLY VERIFIED FOR 05-09 MUSTANGS CURRENTLY)
• Tail light mounts have a partial "swivel" function to lessen the damage from wall taps (when paired with a trunk that doesnt get in the way!)
• Tail light mounts will give at the lower tab, which makes them very easy to bend back and even repair, rather than the complex mount at the light or the tube in between.
• Hardware to mount the structure to the chassis and the hardware to mount bash bars is included.

This kit can be customized in a few ways to really tailor to what you're looking for from a tube rear end.

- Loose parts with bent main tubes and bash bars

*Our mounting strategy for bash bars is not FD legal, but can easily be made FD legal by welding in a vertical tube on the ends of the bash bars. We don't bother to add all that extra work because we aren't in FD. You can also opt to order the kit without the bash bar tabs welded on and weld on your own bash bar mounts! Send us a message if you do not want those welded on but want the rest welded together***

**This tube rear structure is intended to be welded on by a professional. This will not weld on with a harbor freight 110 welder! Accurate measurements, Leveling, cutting and welding is still needed to install this. We just took the guess work and fab cost out of the equation for you! Warranty on these parts is very much limited to fit/finish before installation. We are not liable for incorrect installation or crash protection.
