It has a very bright, deep ruby red colour. It has an aroma of withered red flowers, ripe olives, blueberries and wild berries, on a mineral background. It is smooth and balanced in the mouth, offering a sip of elegant flavour, supported by precise freshness and silky tannins, very well integrated into the solid structure.

Clean, clear and precise, this is how this pure Bobal presents itself to the taster. ‘La Casilla’ was born in the young Spanish denomination of origin of La Manchuela and exploits all the potential of this clayey-calcareous territory, to enhance the rustic and native Bobal variety. After harvesting by hand and vinification of the whole bunch, with spontaneous fermentation and ageing for 10 months in wood, Bodegas y Viñedos Ponce obtains a splendid red wine with an incredible quality-price ratio. It is neither filtered nor clarified, but bottled naturally, to guarantee expressiveness and authenticity of the taste.

Excellent with white and red meats, pasta dishes with meat sauce and not too mature cured meats.
