A very fine pair of Georgian table salts by Rebecca Emes and Edward Barnard hallmarked 1813. These ogee rectangular salts with dragoon and shell border stand on a dragooned base and retain the original silver gilt lining. The craftsmanship is outstanding and the weight substantial (7.1 troy ozs) The condition is very good, there is one minute dent to one of the salts, clearly shown in the photographs and not detrimental to the function or appearance. The salts have a small, lightly engraved crest, lion rampant with initials below. These are high quality antique table salts that would add style and elegance to any table setting.
