This statue brings together two idols that are believed to bring good fortune to any home—the Kamadhenu and Kalpavriksha. Kamadhenu is the mother of all cows and is often depicted as a cow with a woman's face, the wings of a bird, and the tail of a peafowl.
Kamadhenu literally means the cow "from whom all that is desired is drawn"—"the cow of plenty".
As per the Bhagavata Purana, both Kamadhenu and Kalpavriksha originated from the Samudra Manthan, the churning of the oceans.
The Kalpavriksha, also known as Kalpataru, is considered a divine wish-fulfilling tree in Hinduism, Jainism, and Buddhism.
Since the placement of Kamadhenu and Kalpavriksha is believed to bring good fortune as per Vastu Shastra, it is a popular gift given to homeowners at housewarming poojas or parties.
The idols are made of brass and affixed on a wooden base.
