DESCRIPTION

The HOBO® Conductivity Logger for Freshwater is a cost-effective and high-accuracy tool designed for monitoring water quality in streams, lakes, and other freshwater environments. This logger is particularly well-suited for detecting saltwater intrusion into aquifers and monitoring the impact of road and agricultural runoff.

Its innovative non-contact sensor minimizes drift-related measurement errors and is easy to clean for long-term use. The HOBOware Pro software enables start/end-point calibration to address fouling and allows for easy conversion to specific conductance and salinity using the Practical Salinity Scale 1978 (PSS-78). Data retrieval is seamless with a USB optical interface, ensuring reliable performance even in wet conditions. With a memory capacity of up to 18,500 measurements and a battery life of 3 years (1-minute logging), this rugged logger is built for extended deployments in freshwater applications.
