Van Beest Green Pin® Screw Pin Chain Shackles

Van Beest Green Pin® Screw Pin Chain Shackles are engineered for reliable performance in inline rigging applications. Manufactured in Europe from high tensile Grade 6 steel, these chain shackles are quenched, tempered, and hot-dip galvanized for long-lasting durability and corrosion resistance. The signature green pin makes them easy to identify in the field.

The screw pin design offers quick access for attachment and removal-ideal for temporary or mobile setups where rigging is frequently adjusted. A recessed thread chamber helps protect connected slings and wire rope by keeping the threads away from the load-bearing surface, minimizing abrasion and wear.

Chain shackles provide a more direct load path than anchor shackles, offering a higher working load limit for the same size. However, they are best suited for straight-line pulls and should not be used where side or angular loading is expected.
