A charming Arts and Crafts golden oak chest of six graduated drawers raised on bracket feet with unusual carved motifs. This antique oak chest of drawers has a decorative carved disc design running down each side. The oak lined drawers run well and the graduation of each adds to the character and charm of this lovely Victorian chest of drawers. The top of the chest and drawers have an attractive carved edging with a ribbon and fluting design, the carving has a distinctive Arts and Crafts feel to it and is of a very high quality. The wooden knobs are original and in good order. The condition of the chest is very good, there are a few marks to the side which can be seen in the photographs, but these are minor and do not detract from from the beauty of the piece. The colour and patina of this antique chest are superb. With its small proportions, this attractive and versatile Victorian chest of drawers would be a useful and decorative addition to any room.
