The Ferritin Semi-Quantitative Rapid Test is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the semi-qualitative detection of human ferritin in human serum or plasma and whole blood at a cut-off concentration of 30ng/ml for males and a cut-off concentration of 13 ng/mL for females.

Symptoms of iron deficiency include tiredness, hair loss, weakness and brittle nails.

Instructions for Use:

• Prepare all the contents of the kit. Take out the cassette and capillary dropper from the pouch.
• Rotate and pull out the lancet.
• Clean the fingertip by using alcohol pad.
• Press the lancet on the fingertip.
• Massage the end finger that was pricked.
• Draw blood using capillary dropper to the fill line. Do not squeeze the bulb.
• Squeeze the bulb on the cassette to release the blood.
• Place 1 drop of buffer on the cassette.
• Read results at 5 minutes.
