This beautiful necklace is inspired by 'The Octopus Teacher' documentary - about a female Octopus in the wild. They have developed an ingenious way of protecting themselves from sharks. It out-smarts the shark by picking up lots of shells and rocks to protect itself, this confuses the shark and also makes an armour for the Octopus, protecting it from death, in the documentary the octopus loses a tentacle, but then with a little rest manages to grow it back again. If you haven't seen it, I recommend it!

The necklace comes on a chunky sterling Silver chain that is 32inches long and gold plated. The stone is 20mm in diameter and is a navy blue colour.
