Ghanaian musician King Isoba made a big splash here in Japan with his 2014 release "Wicked Leaders," which was named the #1 best album of the year (in the world music category) by Music Magazine. He was called "Ghana's rising star" at the time, and has gained popularity as one of the biggest names in African music in a long time. Because of the difficulties of working abroad due to Corona, Isoba did most of the recording and mixing at a studio in Bongo, a town further from his hometown of Borogatanga in Burkina Faso, and now, as one of the key performers, he has been invited to join the band. One of the key players in this project is Arnold de Boer, known as Zea, a member of the Dutch alternative band "The EX". This recording has further developed the bond between Isova and Arnold de Boer, and has allowed Isova to further evolve musically as well. (C)RS
