The second album by the group that kicked off The Beatles and signed with Decca! This disc contains the entire "TWIST AND SHOUT" album from 1963, including the title track, which was their first hit. This is the second album following "Big Big Hits Of 62," but since the previous album was a medley of hit songs by Duane Eddy, Sam Cooke, Bobby Darin, and others, it seems fair to say that this is the first original album. Even so, the selection of songs is mainly covers (Chubby Checker, The Markets, Rick Nelson, Steve Lawrence, Hollywood Argyle's, Jackie Wilson, Fleetwoods/Bobby Vinton, The Crystals, The Aurons, Little Joe & The Thrillers/ Four Seasons, et al.), and the only original by a member is M-16 (the A-side of the fourth single).
