Textured Handspun Art Yarn for Your Next Fiber Art Adventure

I love spinning art yarn from the wool and mohair produced by my sheep and goats. To create beautiful, bouncy, and richly textured skeins, I blend these homegrown fibers with materials from friends' flocks, along with silk, bamboo, sparkles, and other specialty fibers.

Each skein begins with carefully selected fleece from my animals, which I personally clean, dye, card, and handspin. This labor-intensive process requires time, skill, and dedication, resulting in yarn that is truly one of a kind. When you purchase one of my art yarns, you are supporting a small family farm and helping sustain the traditional craft of handspinning—from the flock directly into your hands.

Because I work with natural fibers, you may occasionally find a small piece of vegetable matter (VM) that escaped even my careful preparation.

Process & Packaging

Every skein is spun by hand on my spinning wheels, then carefully measured, weighed, and labeled with its yardage and fiber content. Once spun, each yarn is soaked to set the twist and finished as a hank to preserve its quality during storage and shipping.
