Teodosio is the Aglianico of the Il Vulture area which ages in second and third barriques for about ten months. Unlike its elder brother, it is a red wine that is fragrant and always fresh without losing any of its expressive depth. Less compact, the Aglianico del Vulture DOC "Teodosio" di Basilisco is highly drinkable, elegant and highly gratifying precisely on account of a specific weight that it never excessive.

Although suitable for the entire meal, Teodosio di Basilisco is a red wine that also accompanies ragout based first courses very well.
