This is the first solo album by the late Ronnie Barron, who is well known to Japanese fans for his collaborations with Haruomi Hosono & Makoto Kubota, as well as his interactions with the Woodstock group. With his unique vocals with a Southern Soul taste, Barron reimagined his roots in New Orleans music in the style of LA swamp/pop, and created a masterpiece that can be called Barron's version of "Gris Gris".
