The Gibson J-45 Studio Walnut Electro-Acoustic Guitar is a modern take on Gibson’s legendary “Workhorse” J-45 series, originally introduced in 1942. Built for both studio recording and live performance, this model combines all-solid tonewoods, classic round-shoulder body design, and modern electronics for versatile sound and playability.

It features a Sitka spruce top paired with walnut back and sides, producing a balanced tone with warm lows, clear highs, and strong projection. Compared to traditional mahogany J-45 models, the walnut version offers slightly enhanced bass and treble response, making it suitable for a wide range of playing styles.

The guitar is equipped with an Advanced Response neck profile, ensuring a comfortable feel for both strumming and fingerstyle players. For stage and studio use, it includes an LR Baggs Element Bronze pickup system, delivering natural amplified acoustic tone.
