This is a D size Lithium Thionyl Chloride Cylindrical Cell with solder tabs. It provides a high energy, high reliability 3.6 volt power source which makes it an excellent choice for memory backup applications. It has a low self discharge rate gives this cell a 10 year shelf life and it also provides stable voltage along a vast temperature range (-60° to +85°C).
