Michter's Toasted Barrel Finish Sour Mash 70cl 43% vol.

To create this expression, the Michter's folks take their US*1 Sour Mash Whiskey and finish it in custom barrels which are toasted, not charred. This additional cask imparts a subtle smokiness to the classically toffee-honey-and-cinnamon-dominated palate.

Nose: Golden Grahams, orange peel, soft oaky smoke and a hint of menthol.

Palate: Honey on toast, salted butter, vanilla pod earthiness and white pepper heat.

Finish: Cinnamon, floral grains and another waft of smoke.
