The 1919 Martin Style C mandolin is a rare, high-quality flat-back instrument produced during a short 1917–1920 production window. It features premium materials like Brazilian rosewood back/sides, an Adirondack spruce top, and ornate marquetry. Known for a brilliant, balanced tone suitable for classical/Celtic music, these are now prized vintage collectibles.
These instruments are often considered premier examples of Martin's early 20th-century craftsmanship before they focused heavily on guitars.
