Its squared bow design provides a broader sling-bearing surface, which helps distribute tension evenly across the sling. Forged from high-strength alloy steel, this shackle features the same pin dimensions and ear spread as conventional Crosby shackles, making it easy to integrate into your existing rigging setups. The screw pin closure offers fast, reliable connections for adjustable or repeat-use applications.

This model is ideal for Type 3, Class 7, 2-ply web slings with a webbing width of 6" (tapered eye required for proper fit) and round sling types 5 and 6. Each unit is clearly stamped with the Crosby brand, working load limit, and PIC code, and proof tested to 2x its WLL for safe, consistent performance in lifting operations.
