The WKSL 4000 is a split-system wine cellar cooling unit and a direct replacement for the WKS 4000. The WKSL Series separates the evaporator (installed inside the enclosure) and the condenser (mounted up to 50 feet away), making it ideal for properly constructed cellars that require remote venting. When installed correctly, the system provides a selectable temperature range of 48°F–63°F while maintaining 50%–75% relative humidity.
These systems require professional installation. A qualified air conditioning or refrigeration technician, equipped for compressor-based wine cooler systems, should perform setup. Installation notes include:
By design, Breezaire cooling units maintain cellar humidity lower than the ambient relative humidity. Practical implications:
Performance notes and requirements:
Note: Because these systems are installation-sensitive, follow all manufacturer and technician guidance to ensure reliable operation and preserve warranty coverage.
Available in two models: the WKSL 2200 for wine cellars up to 265 cu. ft. and the WKSL 4000 for spaces up to 1,000 cu. ft.
Note: The WKSL Series is designed for installation by a qualified HVAC or refrigeration technician. Setup includes connecting the evaporator and condenser modules using copper tubing and low-voltage wiring, with power supplied from a properly sized 110V AC source. These systems must be charged with refrigerant during installation. Each unit features the Sentry III+ digital control system for accurate temperature and humidity management.

The Breezaire Bottle Probe is a must-have accessory for anyone serious about wine preservation. Designed to measure the temperature directly inside your wine bottles, it ensures your collection is stored under optimal conditions.
Compatible with a range of Breezaire cooling systems, the probe provides real-time temperature feedback, allowing you to make precise adjustments and maintain ideal aging conditions. By monitoring the wine at the bottle level, it helps prevent harmful temperature fluctuations that can affect flavor and quality.
Built from durable, high-quality materials, the Breezaire Bottle Probe is easy to install and simple to use, making it an essential tool for both home and commercial wine cellars.

BLACK Series units are special order and require 2–4 weeks for production. Once manufacturing has begun, returns or cancellations cannot be accepted.
This is a special-order modification and makes the unit non-returnable.

The standard Breezaire configuration places the power cord on the wine cellar side. If your installation requires the cord to exit into an adjacent space, you may upgrade to have the cord come out the back.
This modification is a special-order request and makes the unit non-returnable. A hole must be made in the back grill for cord placement. The cord will be located at the bottom right on the back of the unit.
Please Note: Adding this option may extend production and delivery by 3–4 weeks.

Standard - Cord Out The Front

Modified - Cord Out The Bottom

Modified - Cord Out The Exhaust

If your installation requires top exhaust, you can add this optional modification. This directs hot exhaust air upward instead of out the rear. Adequate space for fresh air intake is still required. For example, wine cabinets must still have space behind them for proper airflow.
Please Note: Adding this option may extend production and delivery by 3–4 weeks.

Standard - Hot Air Out Rear

Special Order - Hot Air Out Top (HAU)

An optional rear drain fitting is available for installations requiring additional condensate control.

The bottle probe is available for Breezaire WKL, WKE, and WKC Series units. It is highly recommended when the wine cellar is located in a warm area, as it allows the unit to regulate temperature based on the liquid temperature inside a bottle rather than the ambient air.
