Nuns on the Run is an exciting family game where players can seek or hide. In the dead of night, the novices (newcomers) sneak through the convent to fulfill their secret wish. They must be quiet, however, to avoid being caught by the strict nuns. Can you outsmart the nuns or capture the escaped novices? Clever choices are essential, because the faster you run, the louder you make. If you're caught by a watchful nun, you'll be sent back to your room without mercy, and your search will start all over again. Will you make your wish come true before the end of the night?

If you think you know what devious plans your fellow players will come up with, you might be a very sharp nun. If you think you can navigate the quiet monastery unheard and unseen, the role of novice might be a better fit. All players decide whether to take on the role of a nun or one of the novices. The novices then start by choosing an action: stand still, sneak, walk, or run. Depending on which action you take, you'll reach your secret wish faster. You'll need it to win the game. But be careful: the faster you run, the greater the chance a nun will hear you. If a nun hears you, she may deviate from her route to catch you. If you're caught, you'll be sent back to your room. If the novices manage to fulfill their secret wish and return safely to their room, they win the game. However, if they take too long or are caught too often, the nuns win.
