It's the end of the 19th century and more than 9,000 windmills adorn the landscape of the Netherlands, some of which were built specifically to dry the low-lying areas known as polders. Among these windmills in the polders are fields full of colorful tulips - the flower that was once part of the turbulent history of the first financial bubble, but is now simply an essential part of the Dutch landscape, especially on the famous Flower Route.

In Windmill Valley, a game inspired by the Flower Route, you and up to three other players take on the role of tulip farmers and entrepreneurs. You will build and improve your windmills, look for new tulip bulbs in foreign trade or from local suppliers to buy and plant, and try to gain an edge with hired help and lucrative contracts.
